After completing the novel, Their Eyes Watching God, by Zora Neal Hurston, we have identified the use of many literary elements throughout the journey of Janie Starks. Hurston's choice of dialogue in itself was a challenging part of the novel as well, but helped in comprehension of the overall setting and characters analysis.
In a well thought response, discuss how the dialogue used, diction, irony and symbolism all worked together to drive the plot of the novel.
Ensure that all elements are considered in your response and be sure to use complete and sensible sentences. Proofread all answers prior to posting them and make sure that all conventional and syntactical errors are corrected.
NOTE: After posting your initial response do not forget to respond to at least two other responses for consideration of full credit. Remember, this is a class discussion. All answers may be considered but ensure that your response is actually fitting to the answer in which you are responding to.
