I am looking for a web site that offers Online tools for teachers in the classroom. So far I have tried quia.com and quizstar. I am not completely satisfied with either. Does anyone know a better one?

I have used the Online Test feature that Edline offers. In my opinion, this is the best I have used.

thanks.

By the way, I have also tried the one provided in United Streaming. I think it is terrible.
I would suggest the following website:

http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/

The site allows you to create questions for a quiz and then it allows you to have a variety of types of questions like multiple choice, true and false, and fill-in the blank. With the correct settings, you can also have the quiz scored on-line. Try it and let me know what you think.

I have tried online testing with First Class, but found the kids looked up the answers on google so I went with paper copies.
I just looove http://www.wiziq.com/! Great place to publish lessons and quizzes.

For spelling try http://www.spellingcity.com/, you can create your weekly list and kids can practice at home.
I was just looking at the spellingcity.com site you mentioned and I love it! I'll be teaching elementary and I will be saving that site for my students to use. It's such a great and fun way for students to learn to spell. Thank you!
I use this site for math. I teach middle school but the work can be selected for all levels.

My university uses a program called blackboard. You can do just about everything on it as if you had an online classroom such as posting notes, assignments, videos, audio, and testing. They can be timed and the students can receive immediate grades and a view of what they got right and wrong. Hope this helps!
I also attend a University that uses blackboard. From the perspective of a student, I like using it. It is nice being able to download notes, assignment, a course syllabus, ect. I have had professors use it for quizzes and tests, which is very nice to do at home. Some of the questions given required a higher level of thinking (when thinking of Bloom's) which meant even if googled (as someone mentioned previously), we still had to apply the knowledge in order to answer the question.
