I am a K-5 Computer Teacher.  I have about 200 lessons for word processing, spreadsheets, powerpoint, graphics, photo editing and more. A lot of the lessons are integrated into science (plants, food chain, electricity etc.), but there are lessons for social studies and art related as well. Most of it is hands on "doing" type projects.

Check out In2Books for gr. 3-5 supplemental reading/writing activities.

Students write six online letters to adult mentors (who are screened in advance) about books they read from five different genres. For each genre, students get to pick a book from a range of very easy to challenging. Online lessons and activities are available for each book, along with great materials to help teachers in structuring learning activities.

The United Way is helping support this in some communities. (Students can keep the five paperback books.)
