Helping parents learn more about texting and digital citizenship!

Good Morning Everyone,

I was talking to some friends who work with children and have children and discovered that a lot of parents do not know what they need to know about texting acronyms! I also found that they don't know very much about digital citizenship. I created a Google site as a resource and I hope that it will be useful to some of you! PLEASE SIgn my guestbook if you visit the site!

Thanks, this looks like a great resource, I will add the link to the site!!!

Thanks for sharing... informative post and great resource.....

Thanks for looking :)

Thanks for the information.  Being a technological immigrant, I was clueless when it came to interrupting texting acronyms. We started teaching digital citizenship to all of our students this year. We also initiated a parent education night before beginning this process. While we talked about other internet safety issues with our parents, we did not provide translations for texting. This is something that would be worth including in our next training session with teachers and parents.

Great! Feel free to share the site! Thanks for the feedback!
