Thanks to the team of Ning for creating a new forum with categories. That´s a first step to enhance working together on this community!
Next, members are waiting for a wiki included or features like video messaging / audio messaging.
Okay, wait and see!
Hans you bring up a good point about integrating a Wiki. For this type of collaborative space it would seem natural. The question you raise is it better to have smaller more agile tools separate or one more monolithic tool that can handle them all. I think there are good arguments for both. I think the classroom20.net wikispaces page would benefit from the energy coming here and it would be nice to integrate it somehow. Meanwhile, I figure I'd lend my efforts here and there. Perhaps an RSS feed of recently updated classroom20.net pages would be at least a start.
Hi Brett, thanks for your agreement as to my proposal. What do think about another tool on Web 2.0: Video messaging with http://www.eyejot.com?
I also use YackPack for groups.
Check out two blogs I´m administrate:

I've heard good things about YackPack but haven't had a chance to try it yet. The eyejot tool looks really great and seems useful for integrating with a social networking tool (perhaps via their widget). I may have to give this a try. I'll check out your blogs :)
So, I know Ning is working on wikis, real-time chat, and GROUPS (which I think will be a big deal). I'm wishing they'd have a Skype button showing if someone is online...
