I teach high school health and PE and my department recently received an ipad to use during the school day.  So far, it has only been used to take attendance and do grades.  Pretty sad huh?  Does anyone have any ideas on how to use this ONE ipad in a PE class?

Stacey,

Try this link for some ideas:

Hope this helps,

One idea would be to post little workouts via QR codes around the gym. Allow a small group of students to go around the gym, find a QR code, scan it with the iPad, and complete the exercise (15 pushups, lap around the gym, etc). There are many free and easy sites to create QR codes and then you just print them out. Of course you would have to set guidelines about who holds the iPad and proper use. Hope that helps!
