I am currently working on my Masters in Education with a focus on Intstructional Technology at Western Governors University out of Salt Lake City. It is entirely online and is an awesome program for someone needing flexible hours (such as a teacher with 4 children and a wife also going back to college fulltime :)

Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas has a great virtual school. They have an online master's program in instructional technology. I am a Fort Hays graduate and highly recommend the school. Here is the website http://www.fhsu.edu/virtualcollege/degrees/masters/it/index.htm

I'll be attending The State University of New York at Albany (SUNY Albany) through their Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology program. Tuition is good (especially instate) and is a good school of education. I have yet to take an online course through them though, I'll be starting this spring.

I agree 100% with Mrs. Foley!

Look into the CTER Curriculum, Technology and Education Reform Program online master's program through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I believe it require 8 online courses to earn your Ed.M

As for the quality of the program, I can tell you first-hand that this is a high quality program. I completed a MS through UI the UIUC LEEP Program , which is the distance learning option offered by the UIUC Grad School of Library and Information Science. LEEP is a cousin to the CTER program that has drawn students from every state in the U.S. and from around the world. Tools, such as Moodle, that you will use as a distance learner in the CTER program are all supported by a a first-rate tech support staff. There were many late nights spent writing papers, working on group projects, etc. but it was such a fantastic online program that it made every minute very worthwhile. I cannot say enough good things about CTER and LEEP.

I am an instructor in the Educational Technology Program at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. We are a totally online Master's Program that focuses on Educational Technology as School or Business Technology Facilitation and School Library Media Licensure. We are a NCA, NCATE and KSDE accredited university.

I got my MS Ed. in Integrating Technology from Walden and loved it. Great professors, great materials, great discussions, easy to apply, easy to work with, and a great online system. I recommend it all the time.

I am 3/4 of the way through my Master's in Integrated Technology at Walden.I absolutely love it. It is a challenging program but is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Check out SDSU. http://edtec.sdsu.edu/distance/
Columbia, Drexel, and Penn State also have on-line programs. I think just about any "reputable" school has a good on-line program. Your best bet is to visit the various sites and check out their interface. If their on-line presence is clean, navigable, and appealing, chances are you'll have a good on-line experience. I'm currently taking courses with San Diego State and am satisfied with their curriculum and program so far.
