Short Session Description :  Web2.0fying classroom-how to flatten  classroom using web2.O tools

Full Session Description : The session focuses on how to break the walls of the classroom to enhance teaching and learning using web2.0 I will be sharing how K-9 students ( high school students, too)  can use some of these tools in  Reading, Writing, Spelling, Science, Arts, and Social Studies. Participants will also have a glimpse of how our class collaborates with other classes to make learning fun and a lot more interesting.  Here are some of the tools that will be showcased: wikispaces, blogs, glogster, skype, podcast, wordle, twitter, voicethread, avatars, animoto, slideshare, and wallwisher. It is my hope that with these tools participants will be able to make learning  and teaching a pleasure not a pressure.

Sonia:
This looks great.  Can I ask you to give some detail on which tools in your full description?  I think it will help attract more people to the session!  Let me know when you've updated so I can look at again.

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Steve,

I've just updated my full description. I was one of the presenters in the NECC Unplugged June 29-July 1, 2009 and  hopefully I can share again some of the wonderful things happening in our classroom to other hardworking educators out there in Classroom2.0. Thanks for coming up with this great idea of us  coming together to make a difference in the world of teaching and learning.

Great!
