Charlotte Danielson
The Gospel According to Charlotte. Does anyone know or can provide insight to her Framework? She may be one of the smartest people in education yet I don't know if many people know about her? Any thoughts, opinions, feedback would be great!
The Framework for Teaching is a research-based set of components of instruction, aligned to the INTASC standards, and grounded in a constructivist view of learning and teaching. The complex activity of teaching is divided into 22 components (and 76 smaller elements) clustered into four domains of teaching responsibility:
- Planning and Preparation
- Classroom Environment
- Instruction
- Professional Responsibilities

I believe its the Danielsongroup.com or something like that but would rather hear thoughts from people than read the website

Oh no doubt...in PA - the state has pretty much adopted her framework to evaluate teachers...She leaves no rock unturned...thats for sure
