The OLPC Wiki provides space for local user groups to organize their efforts. Find (or launch) a group where you live and plan a meet up. Give that thin mesh client a workout! I browsed the emerging groups and interesting activities and discussions are beginning to unfold. If you could meet f2f with fellow XO'ers, what would you do first? Next?

There are groups meeting in Houston, Eugene, Oregon, Washington, DC, and Amsterdam, Holland. olpcnews.com has several discussions about local meetings.
Hi Steve! I started a Classroom 2.0 XO space on the OLPC wiki, and am hosting the Eugene, Oregon local group there as well.
