I'm using Class Dojo this year for my Prep Grade tracking.  In the past I would make a note on Edline under the comments section with the date and why points were given or taken.  This year I made activating their Class Dojo account and sharing that information with their parents a homework assignment and will not need to made notes for every change in their prep grade as I've customized the "awards" on CD for that purpose.

I'll keep everyone up to date on responses from parents, but so far the students like the system (especially being able to make a customized avatar for their CD account).

I like the idea of making custom awards.  This is something that I would like to try to implement in my classroom soon, but I am not sure how to handle the families that do not have email accounts.  It seems hard to believe.... but some don't have one.  Is there a way to print reports?

Yes, but they are titled "End of the Year Reports".  They are downloaded as a PDF and do not change any of the "awards" or settings for your class.  There is, under the "Report Card" section, a downloadable report card coming soon and in the "New Features" section that feature currently has the most votes.
