What do you wish you had known before starting a mobile 1:1 initiative?

My school is potentially a year away from starting a 1:1 initiative, with my classroom and one other piloting this fall with classroom netbooks.  So I'm interested in hearing from others as well!

I particularly want to know what professional development was provided before teachers jumped in.

I  just moved to a district that started a 1:1 lap top initiative this year.  There has been very little pd on the use of these.  We use DyKnow as a classroom management tool and Schoology as a learning management tool.  Each have common attributes that are similar but different in use.  There have been frustrations for me-- mainly in how to use these computers for more than just a worksheet "generator"
