I'm looking for someone willing to help me show my students the value of collaborative technology in educational settings. I teach two classes of "Instructional Technology in Teaching" at Brigham Young University. In one section I have future teachers of science; health; and family, home, and consumer science. In the other section I have future English and French teachers. I have a collaborative project set up for the science teachers and would like to have one for the other subjects as well.

Right now I am thinking that an easy, but still valuable project for my students would be to collaborate on a cookbook. This would be applicable for my health teachers (who could use technology to do nutritional analysis), and for my family, home & consumer science teachers, who teach cooking. I could even make it relevant for English and French teachers with a little effort.

I'm open to other ideas as well. Is anyone interested?

Thanks,
Kimberly Mccollum

Hi Kimberly,

I realize you posted this comment a couple of years ago, but I was wondering if you were still looking for ideas for your future English and French students? If yes, please contact me at nettzevo@gmail.com. I teach middle school French in GA and would love for my kids to interact with others, even future teachers.

Thanks

Nathalie
