As a trainee teacher I am getting to grips with reflective practice, however I have observed many opportunities within the classroom whereby learners would benefit from their own reflective practice (maybe in the form of blogging?) to help improve their work. I have tried to suggest this as an idea with little success. Can anyone suggest a way to motivate learners into giving it a try?

Thank you for your advice Andrea and Alex.
As Level 5 learners they are expected to know how to analyse and critique their own and others work, and apply reflective practice as part of their degree qualification. I think Alex you are right, I need to ease them in to it a little more, checking that the skills are there in tutorials or group work and practicing it regularly as Andrea suggested. This in turn will hopefully make them see the value in reflective practice and build their motivation.
