Hello everyone!
I am doing some research to get information on technology in athletics. Working on a article that will show examples of how technology has integrated and helped in the athletic world.
Does anybody have examples or thoughts on the subject?

It seems that with each week there is something new in the world of athletics related to technology.
Some of the things I see our coaches using:
1. Each sport now seems to have an app that can track stats or do a live game tracker. www.pointstreaks.com is what we used during basketball season to show a live game center with stats.
2. Coaches are using apps for on the field instruction. Coach's eye is one of the best for videoing and then showing right away. It has a great slow motion.
3. For video library - Hudl is the way to go. Coaches can share game/practice film with the viewers they want. Coaches are filming practices and then sharing and breaking down film with their athletes.
4. Social Media - Twitter and facebook have change how we receive info.
These are just a few and there seems to be more each week.
