Students will be working on an extensive research project tied to their career pathway. We have a few ultimate goals such as a senior portfolio, but I'm sure someone has a great class somewhere in this area. I'm just talking to a variety of people to try and find it.

Your course sounds like an interesting idea. Although, I do always worry about teaching "skills" outside of the context of a curriculum - The technology is the "how," what is the "what." For example, we can teach research skills, but if students don't have something authentic to research I don't think it sinks in as well. I will be very interested to hear more about what you come up with.

Many of us are teaching courses like this for teachers, I don't know of anyone who is doing it for kids. Are you on Twitter? That would be something to throw out to the group and find out what they think. You might also want to start a forum discussion here and find out if anyone on Classroom 2.0 is doing something like this.

There are many many places for resources. The Classroom 2.0 wiki is a good place to start.
