I requested to reset my password and discovered that I already had an account. This was definitely a Homer Simpson moment. "Doh!" I added the Forum to my Google RSS reader and am delighted to be getting messages about the SmartBoard. I love this piece of technology.

Thanks again for the invite - and in this case the reminder that I already belong. I'll become more active.

I just joined MAC web 2.0 and I am really excited. Be sure to check out my profile. I am a 1st grade teacher and the CTL for my campus(computer technology liason). I train 1st and 2nd year teachers on basic computer skill applications required by my district. I have taught 18 years and would love to share ideas on how to get started on web 2.0 in as grade classroom. We are a MAC district and we also have 3 Smart boards on my campus. We have about 5,000+ plus students in our district and we are totally MAC across the district. Oh we are a K-5 campus. I hope to hear from you. I will be at the TCEA conference next week in Austin and hope to catch some great classes on web 2.0

With your work in Instructional Technology at your County Schools, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
