About Me: Graduated from Arizona State University with my doctoral degree in Leadership and innovation in 2010. My dissertation was on the effects of didactic movie making on students 21st century learning skills and science content in the middle school classroom.

Have you read the work of Gunter Kress and Cary Jewett? You may find them useful particularly in regards to the affordances of visual discourses in the teaching and learning of science.
