Wow--thanks for writing back so quickly! I guess I'm looking for any kind of article, perhaps anecdotal, that would support student digital portfolios. I work for an educational non-profit and am putting together a professional development program for teachers. I always anticipate the question of "is this safe?!" and just wanted some more evidence to back me up. My own search so far keeps bringing me back to you, so I thought I would ask! : )
Thanks!

Hi Miguel! I've been exploring your list of resources to create a "walled garden" in my research on how to create student digital portfolios and publish them online. I'm wondering if you know of any other literature that supports the safe use of these tools in the classroom? I've really enjoyed your wiki! Thanks for your help!
Hi Miguel. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Alix, glad you find the wiki helpful. As a denizen of Texas, I have the opportunity to meet new people every day but it's great that the wiki is useful to others. The question I have for ground swells is, how many of these kinds of wikis can we have? As many as there are individuals?
Hi Miguel,
I really enjoy your wiki "Around the Corner" and have passed it along to colleagues! It's so great that you are a supporter and activist for Creative Commons. The future is shifting away from monopolistic ownership of technology resources in favor of Open Source and Creative Commons. It will be the ground swell of the masses that does it!
