Do you think blogging can be efficient for all students in EFL writing class? If not, for which type of students is more efficient?

Thanks Tim, its for my students, I opted to use this site instead of a wiki. We have been using google wave since early on in this school year, all my students have accounts, now that it is finally open I am hoping to embed the work they have been doing on our site. I mainly using it as collaborative space for working on our projects

Good point; very funny! Zhuhai must be a very interesting place to live! As for my listed blog, it is no longer working, which reminds me that I have to update my account. The server crashed somehow so I transferred that information to a new blog. I'll update my profile soon, but the new address is: http://lmpeifer.wordpress.com/

I am trying to get my colleagues to incorporate more technology in class, but it is an uphill battle:) However, hope springs eternal. I have received positive feedback from some on my website which I will be updating over the summer.

How is China? I was there for two weeks on a People to People conference on world languages and loved every minute of it!

Hi, Tim. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've worked as a classroom teacher for many years and at present I Coordinate an institute. We teach general English to kids, teenagers and adults. We are starting implementing ICT right now at almost all levels. We have an IWB in the school and now our students who are getting ready for the Cambridge ESOL exams can also practice on line as well as receiving F2F lessons. I need to learn a lot about the use of IT in education. Hope to learn through this site!
Cheers!

All right I'll definitely visit your Wave. I teach in Uruguay EFL to adults and Form II children. I use technology with adults as an integrated part of their regular face to face courses. I teach First Certificate level and Advanced levels. I have also conducted and experimented a lot with Wikis and actually I've delivered presentations on that topic in ABS international, which is an English teachers congress held every February in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
