Thanks for sharing the resources Sherry.. I'm curious - who have you heard about us from? We want to start finding people to collaborate with - having our teachers start to co-plan projects together.
Hi Sherry. My name is Neil Stephenson and I work at the Calgary Science School. Nice to see other Alberta Educators on here! I noticed you're looking for colleagues around PBL - we're a school focused on Inquiry and Technology - perhaps there's some opportunities to work together. You can access some of the projects we've designed at: http://calgaryscienceschool.blogspot.com

Sherri,
I wonder if your teachers might be interested in checking out the Take Action Project we are developing at Orinda Intermediate School? It's in a science class but it would be easy to make it a vehicle for literacy and critical thinking. Its at www.takeactioncurriculum.org and a blog of what's going on in the classroom at http://takeactionscience.wordpress.com (which is basically a teacher's guide). We'll provide help to anyone wishing to dip a toe in. Free of course, we just want to get the idea out there. Sue Boudreau (Orinda, California sueboudreau2004@yahoo.com)
