Is there anyone doing something impressive with Teen Second Life? My district just bought an island, so I guess they are going to want to use it. I am looking for content delivery ideas that are more that just classroom in Second Life.

I have social network called Collaborative Translation. Some language educators do teaching and translation work. You are welcome to join and to contribute to some 21st century benchmarks. http://collaborative-translation.ning.com/

The SLanguages 2008 Conference will be an excellent opportunity to see how virtual worlds can support language education.

Hi!
I would be particularly interested in finding out about how SL can be used for support the teaching of world languages.

Hello from rural Nebraska! I am a school superintendent and am very intrigued by second life as an enrichment activity for students. Can any of you direct me to appropriate social networks in second life for students?

Hi. I'm Doug and I teach Spanish. I need some ideas for my classes to communicate.
