Great question. The exchange that I participated in lasted 9 days. I was on their site this week, and teachers can serve as guides for student delegations and those can last as long as 23 days.... Hope this helps!

I just participated in an exchange through People-to-People. It was incredibly well organized, and we were able to see multiple aspects of the country. I'd suggest that you look there!

I look forward to reading and sharing here. We are in a suburban Indianapolis school district. We are in our third year of teaching Mandarin K-Level 3. We plan to add Level 4 next year and AP the following. Our program has made great strides with the support of our school board, Indiana University's SMARTTALK program, the American Councils for International Education, and Hanban. We are continually writing and revising our curriculum.

Right now, we are looking for ways to support exchanges for our teachers and students in China. What succes have people had with this?
