Ian and I are always looking for resources we feel are worthwhile to visitors of History Tours. As you know, with the versatility of Google Earth and Google Maps, students and teacher have a variety of events they could do a tour on. Some people are coming to our site looking for actual tours and others are looking for ideas. Whenever we can give users links to one, the other, or both we feel that we are really fulfilling our mission as educators.
Ian, though, is the one responsible for the finding of your site. I did take the time to view and review your materials as well and really like idea of using the collective intelligence of an entire group, global community in this case, to show exemplary projects and best practices. I personally was more focused on Google Earth and Maps projects(of course). Take care!
Hi Carol! Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get NY students involved. Please let me know. Thanks!
