I LOVE working with educators on using technology to enhance their curriculum for student learning! I have twelve years experience in adult education, specifically, teaching teachers. I was an adjunct faculty member of Ottawa University Professional Education Program in Phoenix from 1996 – 2005, teaching everything from Poetry and Math for the elementary teacher, to a variety of technology classes. I created the curriculum content, syllabus, objectives and all resources for these classes. I have been a faculty associate for the Arizona State University cohort program teaching a New Media class for teachers in the Master's program. During the Spring semester 2009, I am co-teaching Educational Technology in the K-12 Curriculum for undergraduates. From 2001-2008, I held the position of Technology Integration Facilitator for the Paradise Valley Unified School District, providing specific professional development workshops and classes to administrators and teachers of all disciplines, with an emphasis in preparing and assisting them to use instructional technology tools within their curriculum. And finally, I have been a trainer of technology classes for the Arizona K-12 Center since 2006.
Outside of my passion for educational technology, I love to hike, travel, bike, take photos, read, spend time with my family and friends, and learn new things.
