I was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. I worked as a radiologic technologist for almost a decade before I returned to college to enter the teaching profession. My undergrad degree is from State University College at Buffalo. I've taught preschool through university students over the years and right now teach in Phoenix, AZ at Bellair Elementary School. Currently, I teach 3rd-6th grade reading & math to identified gifted students and have been enjoying this experience for the last eight years.
While in AZ, I gained a Masters in Educational Leadership, an Administrative Certification, and an a second Masters in Educational Technology. I'm a frequent presenter/attendee at technology conferences both local and national and spend a great deal of time and energy in pursuit of new technologies and ways to bring learning to students.

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Arizona!
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
