Hello Chris,

Our ITRT at covering the Goochland Secondary Complex has a Spanish teaching background. Her blog is http://blogs.glnd.k12.va.us/teachers/bcantor/

Promethean Boards continue to be our focus in Goochland Schools. This tool helps teachers change the way they teach. The middle school has had boards in every classroom for two years now. We will complete the high school this summer and have started the elementary initiative. We will have 6 at Bryd, 4 at Goochland Elementary (maybe 5 with another PTA gift) and 3 at Randolph. Our G21 projects were a great success this year. If you follow our web site at all, you may have heard of them. Good training is the key to any initiative and Bea is a good example of what good training is all about. Tom

Hi Chris
I am also a high school Spanish teacher in Vermont. My classroom inherited 25 hand me down computers this year. I have been trying use wikis and blogs and I think I have had a little success. We tried connecting with epals to some classrooms in Spain and Columbia but I don't feel that that has worked out very well. I know I have a lot to learn so I am thrilled to find teachers with experience.

Hi Chris. Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get Virginia students involved. Please let me know. Thanks!

hello Chris!
I apologize I did n´t answer before but for us is the end of the school year and we have a lot of work to do. Please visit our website : www.colegioaula21.com.ar,there you will find a lot of information about us, if you speak Spanish. We must put a presentation in English. Colegio Aula XXI is a middle and high school (13 to 18 years old), is private, we have 230 students, we work with the multiple intelligence concept( but we do not say it!, too many horrors were done in his name), we have quite a lot of art and try to make our students persons able to think by themselves, able to live in this world.
The school in Chaco we are working with is a primary school, a very small one.
We will very happy to participate in your project, if Escuela del Sol agrees, but we go on holidays in December and begin the classes in march, so we must plan with tose dates in mind.
Un abrazo
Lucia
