About Me: I was a fourth grade teacher in Midland, Texas for six years. After completing my Masters in Reading and obtaining my Reading Specialist Certificate, I moved out of the classroom and am now working as a Literacy Coach on an elementary school campus. I love the daily challenge, enjoy working with teachers, and still have the opportunity to engage with students on a daily basis. It's a role that provides opportunities for research and experimentation with a variety of approaches and strategies.
