Hi Pam, I'm a K-5 instructional coach in Sioux Falls, SD. I noticed a comment from you on a Linkedin discussion on Android tablets (http://www.linkedin.com/groups/Asus-Transformer-other-Android-tablets-3942725.S.60217561?qid=37fb3a22-ccf2-4274-bd81-26bac85b6ee6&trk=group_most_popular-0-b-ttl&goback=%2Egmp_3942725). Our school is considering implementing Android tablets in our 4th and 5th grade classrooms. I've been searching for someone who has tried this in an elementary school and haven't had much luck. I was hoping that you would be willing to give us some insights into implementation and management of the devices. Thanks!

Wade

Hi Pam, would you consider introducing your school to a website I am building for teachers. I am concerned about the lack of art history in many schools so am working on a course in the history of art as a course and as a resource.
Please take a look at ahaafoundation.org for me and let me know if any teachers might find it interesting and Thank you

Hey Pam,

Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!

That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.

Do you mind passing my message along to students and your colleagues again?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi ,Pam

With your work in Ed Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Hi Pam! Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get NH students involved. Please let me know. Thanks!
