About Me: Every time I review my "About Me" entry I end up with a grin on my face... Due to budget cuts I cannot keep up with what I will be teaching as each year it is slated to be elimated. Electives have, once again, been cut for the upcoming year. So I think I will revise this entry to simply say that I am a TEACHER of STUDENTS who loves to work with those who are struggling in the area of reading. Additionally, I love using blogs, wikis and whatever technology appears at my doorstep next to engage whichever student walks through the door of my classrooms (yes, plural, I get two classrooms).

MS Walk 2009

About 1.5 weeks ago I rolled out my class blog (Mr. Lane's Computer Applications/Web 2.0 Blog) as an interactive tool with my 8th grade Web 2.0 technology class (the first few weeks it served, more or less, as a Web 1.0 tool).
