Rick - I'm still wandering all over the place in this alternate reality. I am currently one of Bena's colleagues but can not find her discussion on effective teachers. I'm wondering if we should invite Mary Beth Clifton so she can see the benefits of this educational community. Imagine having "courageous conversations" with respectful members in this environment. Maybe blogging amongst our team at school to keep it more personal.

Once you click on Following, I think it will then read "stop following", meaning that following is in effect? Does this makes sense?

Rick... my best wishes and condolences are with you and your family. I'll send you some information about "course design" that I think you'll find interesting.

On a "what's new" note, I've just joined with Yale University Law School's Information Society Project as a Research Fellow, to collaborate on a book project covering "global knowledge access and new models for learning. Our research partner on this project is the University of the People, a new model for enabling students in the developing world to obtain a university degree at no cost.

I'm excited about the opportunity to do this research and publish through the Yale University Press, following on the ideas I had a chance to develop for Heidi's forthcoming book, Curriculum 21- Essential Curriculum for a Changing World (available from ASCD in December). I look forward to an opportunity to work with you.

Hi Rick,
I think that Heidi has to add Scott to the discussion. I believe that she has to send the invitations because she created the group.

I just removed one of my accounts....thanks for motivating me to fuss for a few minutes to find it.
Click on setting on the top right corner of the page of the account you want to remove.
Scroll down to the bottom to the link : Leave Classroom 2.0.
When you click it will ask you if you're sure you want to delete the account.
Just that simple!
Enjoy your long weekend!

Hi Rick,
I think I signed up for an account, didn't use it much and then added a new one when Heidi started her page. I should really go back and remove one.

I gave my Art department chair Robert's contact information because he was hoping to connect her to his art teachers. We have made good progress with our art maps, but it is a tricky discipline to nail down. Her name is Rhonda and she is wonderful. I hope she can offer some ideas as that department moves forward with the work.

I hope your school year is off to a great start and I'm looking forward to your book. I hope you're feeling great!

Thanks for the add. Doing well. Just leaving a curriculum gig in New Orleans and heading home. Take care.
