I teach 6th grade social studies and computers plus 8th grade current events. This is the first time I have ever been primarily responsible for technology and through my research and preparation I came across Classroom 2.0. After attending the NMSA conference in Denver I feel better about going forward. Much of what I have discovered on my own I saw being presented. Now I just need to implement....or shall I say guide my students to the the 3 Cs. I will be doing those things without a lot of bells and whistles and on my own...that's where you all come in! Thanks in advance for the collaboration and sharing of Classroom 2.0.

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Michigan!
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
Hello Teresa from Germany! My focus is on Web 2.0 apps in the classroom and I care about Notebook-classes. Feel free to check some of my sites. Additonally I would love if you can decide to join my group DigiSkills on CR 2.0 about digital teaching methods - the biggest group with now 393 members - we are also sharing bookmarks in a Diigo Group if you like.

Hi Teresa, I teach info tech to grade 6 for 2 lessons a week. We have got them going with individual blogs. They have a class blog which their classroom teacher drives so if you are interested in either, the links to their blogs come from mine at http://murch.globalteacher.org.au, by scrolling down the RHS to techno6s and their class blog is http://techno6.globalstudent.org.ua
