About Me
Initially drawn to Harvard's Graduate School of Education by the Harvard Achievement Gap Initiative, I have now become intrigued with harnessing technology's powerful potential to work towards eliminating this gap.
I am currently a Master's student in the Technology, Innovation and Education Master's program at Harvard Graduate School of Education. My background experiences as a classroom teacher, arts educator, actress, mother and development coordinator of a program designed to address racial disparities in my district have provided a great springboard from which to dive into the researched-based inquiry I am expecting to participate in this year. My hope is to utilize technology to create avenues to increase the family school connection in ways that both strengthen academic engagement and achievement and enrich intra-family relationships.
I welcome the opportunity to learn from you during my journey and to share in being an agent for change for ALL children.

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Ohio and make sure local kids get involved, too.
You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
