About Me: I'm originally a music teacher from way back! LOL I'm stepping into a new full time job in the fall helping the K-8 teachers integrate technology into their teaching. This past school year, I've been working with the K-5 teachers and have had quite a few successes - enough that we're jumping in whole hog now. I'm definitely open to suggestions!

Well, it's been a while. But, BOY has it been a busy summer! I've finished two of the classes I've been teaching for the college and have two more that finish this week. Paperwork.....gotta love it, right??? I have this week and then part of next in the Teaching and Learning Center for the college and then, I'm off to prepare for the grade school. It's going to happen so quickly! We have teachers meetings on the 13th and the 16th with students coming for a little while on the 17th. I don't…

WOW! Looking at all the stuff I've started accumulating, I wonder how in the world I'm ever going to get things organized so that I can help my teachers! Oh my gosh! Right now, I'm feeling like I'm in WAY over my head. I want to help the teachers get things going so that the kids are much more engaged and DOING next year, but I think I have to find small ways to get people started. School's Out For the Summer!

OK......Tuesday officially ends my school year at the grade school. Classes at the college have been out for more than two weeks now, so I get my first "official" day off on Thursday. And now, those months that teachers took the job for - June, July, and August, right??? If they only knew!
