Former teacher and Superintendent of Schools. As a superintendent, I became interested and committed to help students become more engage, connected and technologically literate for the 21st Century. I was hired for the Guam Department of Education one year ago for their Federal Programs division where I write and help implement Title V-A Innovative Technology Federal Consolidated Grant. Guam is just getting reliable connectivity in all the schools and beginning to acquire computers for teachers and students. VERY different experience...Going back in time for me a bit! Excited for the transformation.

Hi Neil. I was wondering if your students and teachers would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Neil, I'm wondering if your ears were ringing earlier tonight. I was speaking with Sheryl Nussbaum Beach about a program happening up here in our area and wondered if I might speak with you to see if you are part of it.
Brian,
We have a lot going on in our high school with teachers using Web 2.0 tools. Perhaps we could have a conversation over skype and I can talk to you about what has been happening at Iroquois. let me know if this is something you would like to arrange.
Hi Neil. Thanks for the comment. The connections we can make are really powerful. I work closely with some folks in your area, Michelle Okal at Erie #1 and Jeff Dolce in Orchard Park.
Please keep me in mind if you hear of any projects involving these tools. We are connected to Internet2 and have a strong distance learning (videoconferencing) program. I'd also love to hear what educators or administrators in your district are using Web 2.0 tools.
I hope you are having a nice summer (as much as you Superintendents can).
Welcome from Germany! I´m a Deputy Head at a Sec. School in Bavaria and I care about European Schoolprojects for Bavaria.
I created the biggest group about digital teaching methods called DigiSkills.
Would you like to join as well?
Greetings
Hans
