setting objectives and providing feedback

I am currently looking into setting objectives and providing feedback. Setting objectives is pretty old hat for me but providing meaningful feedback is an area that I purpose could grow in. If anyone has some ideas or websites that they could share on this topic, that would be great.

So, what does a web2 classroom look like?

Do we even call it a classroom? Maybe we call it an environment?

Summer To Do List 2009

I put over 130 miles on my minivan in ONE day this week just chauffeuring my two kids to ball games, practices, and "Driver's Ed" class. This time of year can be crazy, but I absolutely LOVE every minute of it!

It's About Connection

As a middle school teacher, if I have learned anything about being an effective teacher, I have learned it's all about connection. Not connection with 'the class' because there's no such thing as 'the class'. The connection(s) you must cultivate are those between you and each and every student.
