The concept of the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy taught me, “What you say is what you get”.

Use it or Lose it

As a golfer I frequency hear that if you don't play and don't practice the skills that you have built up will begin to disappear. Living in the frozen north where our winters tend to deposit a lot on snow on golf courses making play or practice an impracticality, I can vouch for the premise to some extent. ohhh techology..

The first technology I remember really enjoying was a giga pet. For some reason I thought those we just the coolest things. You know, you would bring home a dog or cat and have to feed it and love it and bathe it. It would make noises every time it wanted something. When you first brought it home, it was a baby and would need you to take care of it all the time. It would constantly beep until it got "old enough" to not need attention all the time.
