There are three things I teach learners never to put online:

1. their name
2. their photo
3. their location

We, in parentis loci, should not be doing these either. Learners in my rooms choose and use screen names and avatars. We will say the city and town and country of our school for collaborations but not our street address.

This summer the Olympics are taking place in a country that is assisting genocide in another country AND in their own.

I need recommendations! I am teaching grades 4-9 summer
blogging - a one week crash course. Kids are likely to continue
blogging after the course ends. They are social creatures.
I would like you to suggest opensource, zero download, safe tools for this
bunch. I'm thinking I would like to set these up with safe email, too.
