I've just come home from the NavCon2k7 conference in Gosford, NSW, and had to start playing on my laptop straight away. I have explored so many Web 2.0 tools that should not only inspire my students but also the teachers in my school.

I'm really keen to try out rafi.ki with my Grade 4 class. We are learning about our environment, with a particular reference to droughts and global warming. It would be great for the kids to exchange ideas, stories and pictures about their environment with other kids across the globe.

It would be great to hear from someone who has been using rafi.ki with their primary aged stduents.

We have not looked at that site, but are working on stories - our challenge is to Find a story...Map a story...Tell a story with a map, a photo, and a narrative. Be glad to blog with your class - just let me know the grade level or age.

I haven't heard of rafi.ki -- is it similar to ePals? I've had a look at that, and there are lots of schools involved in that community but its more of a classroom-to classroom matching.
