Hello everyone,

I'm very intrigued by this whole Web 2.0, Classroom 2.0 movement and I'm here to see what others are doing so that I can try new things. I'd also love to share the things I'm doing.

I've heard about teaching using iPods and cell phones. Come on. Is anyone out there using those for student learning? If so I'd love to hear what you're doing.

I had just posted over in Library 2.0, because we just purchased six iPods for library checkout and I was wondering if other schools were doing that.

We're planning to use them for a variety of things for students that need extra audio support, for free ESL podcasts and foreign language podcasts, and for recording podcasts.

Homework on phones - RSS! Podcasts on iPods or on computer. I can't yet use these essentials tools at school, but it will happen...

So how does one get podcasts onto their cell phone? Doesn't it seem expensive to purchase iPods to have kids listen to podcasts? Why don't they just listen on their computers? I'm just not getting it yet.
