EVERNOTE SHOULD BE A REQUIREMENT FOR EVERY HS STUDENT IN THE COUNTRY!

Are you NOT familiar with Evernote? If not, please create an account for yourself and then help every student you have create their own! It is what I consider "bookmarking on steroids!"
The most important aspect of this web app is collecting everything you come across and having access to it later from any internet device (computer or mobile phone...probably even on the Wii).

So, if you haven't already done so, take a minute and go through the "learn more" page.

I agree that there are so many tools out there now, it is hard to know what is worth it and what is a time waster. This is a time saver.

Nough said...go check it out.

Anyone here agree what a great tool this is for students? Please add to this post with your comment.

Just found this list of Seven things NOT TO USE Evernote for...

Ok, you you have to use some common sense as with all web tools...but just in case.

I just downloaded Evernote and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I have tried several time management and project management tools, and this one gets a high rating from me. Is it for students? Absolutely! Who doesn't want students to become independently self-managed? Educators too -- it's great. This tool uses tags as a major feature benefit. I'm still testing the other features, like the app for my Droid phone, so I'll let you know if my review rating is still high after a few days/weeks of use.
