Hi Cecilia,
Thanks for your comment. I haven't been in the site for awhile as I am trying to work on a technology assignment for Uni, designing a website! I am currently doing my 4th year.
Take care,
Georgie

The students at my school do get lessons on how to use technology tools. It is a special at our school, much like music and art. However, the district is considering taking it away from the special areas and doing like it sounds like your school is, by having the teachers that use it, teach their students. I am currently taking an Intel course on technolgy integrated projects. We are almost finished and it has been an intense 60 hour online course. I have learned a lot about how to integrate technology and plan student-centered learning projects. I am looking forward to doing the unit my team and I created next year. In fact, my classroom got six new laptops for myself and my students to use. It makes it much easier to integrate technology into the curriculum now that I have more for my students to get their hands on :)

Thank you for your comment! Wow - Argentina...the web sure does make the world a smaller place :) 20 month old twins!!! You must be busy! How do you find time for work? I would love to keep in touch. What grade do you teach? My third grade students do not have to learn a second language, but I do have a lot of diveristy within my classroom. I have one student that speaks Polish, one that speaks Bosnian, one that speaks Ukranian, several who speak Spanish, and one that speaks a little German! I, myself, speak a bit of Spanish. I think being multilingual is very important as well as learning technology!
