Hi Jane, I see we are going to be working together! I am excited! Send me a note when you have a chance. I'd like to chat about dates and the project. Thanks!! :)
Hi Jane,
I have been on a steep learning curve since attending the National IWB Conference on the Gold Coast last month. This was an incredibly motivating conference and I highly recommend it. Next year it is in Victoria so I encourage you to get there if you want to meet some funky IT people.
I have spent my entire school holidays on the computer, setting up a blog, exploring educational sites and working on flipcharts for next term. Very exciting stuff.
I would love to set up class buddies with your class but I anticipate a little resistance from parents and heirachy at school. I would appreciate any advice on how to inform parents about the educational benefits of Web 2.0 applications. I loved you class blog. Well done.

HI Jane,
That's wonderful news that you will join the webkinz project! I can't wait to see what you do! Tracy
Wow! I forgot that you all are on the other side of the world and that would affect your schedule. I will definitely check out your blog when I get a minute. I should actually be sleeping right now, but my hubby is snoring and I have the "first day jitters." Wish me luck!
Sorry it's been so long. We are just getting started on the school year and things have been busy. I have just put together a web page for my classroom and as soon as it's up and running I'm hoping to start a blog page for my students. I'm hoping that you can give me some tips, as I've never done anything with blogging.
Thanks for filling out the survey! You've really made me wonder now about the similarities and differences between our two countries. I suppose it's something new for me to learn. I know a couple of teachers here who've spent a year in Australia in a job swap. Both rave about the experience.
