Hello, Isabelle. Nice to meet you here. I'm a German language teacher interested in using the new technology to motivate my students. Like you I teach Spanish at a Secondary school. At the moment I'm coordinating a Comenius project called 'DigiSkills' (www.digiskills.eu). Your ning friend Hans Feldmeier is a partner in this project. Best regards from Bavaria
Bonjour Isabelle!
I teach French at an american high school and have recently been recognized by my state as a Keystone Technology Integrator. I'm looking forward to a new school year full of new technologies for me... a macbook, a Smartboard, an ipod. It seems the possibilities are endless! Glad to be your friend and I hope the conversation continues.
Hi Isabelle, I´ve tagged your blog. Very good links indeed! And I´ve added you to my del.icio.us network.
Would like to team up with you on several fields. By the way, are you interested in a new Comenius Schoolproject about Web 2.0 at school?
Hey Isabelle, we are now starting the 3rd year. But you know - the deadline for a next project is end of Jan. 2008.
At the moment we are 10 partners from 8 countries. I want to become the coordinator for a new project maybe called EduWeb2.0 with focus on Web 2.0 apps as to school. Parallel there will be a Etwinning project.
Remember, I´m a Comenius Promotor for my Agency and a Etwinning Ambassadort for the Germany Agency.
Cheers
Hans
Hello,
at this moment i have to leave, but i find very interesting that you use classroom 2.0 to speak about foreignlanguage teaching and new technologies. I,m also very enthusiastic with this thema...
Best regards
Carlos
Muchas Gracias!! I did check out the sites and will have to spend some more time doing so but will have to find some time. i think that we are going to try to integrate this for our teachers who want to use the site next year.
Hello Isabelle! I would love to share experiences and new ideas about the use of technology in language classrooms. Thanks for adding me as a friend! :)
Hi Isabelle,
G'day from Oz! Great to hear from you. Have to say that this is all very new to me. I am very happy to share my ideas. However, I tend to be an in-house teacher. Could share some Bloom's taxonomy learning centres with you, if you could use them. Really great with those middle school learners, especially, if like me, you keep on copping new kids in the classroom half way through the year.
A bientot

Thanks for your warm welcome. I look forward to getting more involved here especially because right now, I am the local techno geek in my foreign language department. I love to collaborate, share ideas, steal ideas and just stay current, so I hope to hear from you and make other friends soon.
Thanks for the invite, Isabelle. I'm a bit leary of extending my network cause I feel like I spend too much time on the internet already. I am however using lots of web 2.0 tools for teaching FSL
FLE online. I am most interested in connecting my students to native French speakers.
We already have the website of our project finished and we’d like to share it with you.

You are right in your comment. Despite almost all the videos are fee-paying, teachers can previsualized them before they decide to purchase them. Also, there are several free videos with original games and activities in our blog section, so teachers can go to our site to get new ideas for free.
