Claret School of Quezon City where I teach is an all boys school. Assumption Antipolo on the other hand is an all girls school. Claret is located in a city near malls, movie houses, bars and restaurants and other conveniences as well as inconveniences (traffic, pollution, etc). Assumption is located 900 feet above sea level, in a mountain far from today's modern living, no malls, no traffic what you get are birds nesting on trees and clean air. Last Wednesday March 4, 2009, the two worlds meet.… Continue

Redemption

Four years ago, a tall but rather skinny member of my robotics team stepped into the playing arena to compete in the finals of the 2nd National Robotics Olympiad which was held at the Alabang Town Center. It took the boy a couple of hours to assemble his lego robot. His robot will compete in the finals of a maze event.

And now it’s crunch time! It was a tense moment for all of us. It was the first time for us to join in the Robotics Olympiad. We didn’t even expect to reach the finals… Continue

What will you do if you found out that you are a robot?

Posted on May 12, 2008 at 9:38pm 0 Comments

Getting a que from Helen I asked several of my Summer Robotics class "What will they do if they found out that they are robots?" Here are their quick replies:

"If I found out that I'm a robot, I will just tell some members of my family whom I trust most to keep it a secret. I will help them if I had more abilities like teach them how to play the guitar."

Audrey Sarai P. Manabat, 12 years old

" I will be proud as a robot, because I was built for a cause, instead… Continue

Hi Roxan, Thanks for the add. =)
I'm Danielle, I work for 43marks.com.Its a free customizable bookmark site that makes a great startpage for any class. We give you a unique URL (43MARKS.com/username) where you can upload bookmarks that are of interest to the class your teaching. You can have unlimited pages. One page for each class or project. It's a great resource to have all the relevant websites on one page. We are also advertising free, no banners, no pop ups.
43marks.com comes with some bookmarks - But after you create your 43marks.com page you can delete all the default bookmarks and just upload the bookmarks you want. You can also rearrange the catagories and bookmarks in any order you want.
Let me know what you think! =)
