I have been an educator for 39 years. .
16 as an English teacher (10 in Anchorage Alaska)
23 as a technology integrator/staff developer/consultant
I have worked as an adjunct instructor for numerous universities and colleges, including Univ. of Alaska, Syracuse U., LeMoyne College, and presently Lesley University.
My main focus since I touched my first Apple II Plus has been on telecommunications used to expand the classroom. I have administered an Enterprise solution LMS (Blackboard Community System presently) since 2000 to K-12 schools in Central NY. Presently I have over 1400 trained teachers with 17,000 students in 23 school distrricts using my system. It is now beginning to grow rapidly though we have consciously kept student numbers down due to cost, encouraging public access to many sites!

Hi Daniel. I was wondering if you have students or educator friends who would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
David, Thanks.. it's all about the kids and giving them an audience, isn't it!
Your posted picture is very artsy... and scary!
I see you are from Vancouver, eh!
I lived 13 years in Alaska, but never visited Vancouver. I did the Alaska ferry, inland passage to Haines, in 1970.... closest I ever came to your city.
