I have students interested in learning more about Mexico. They have created a survey for someone to take. Would you be willing to provide me with an e-mail address so they can send you a letter? maryhoward@k12.ginet.org. Thank you!!
I've become a new member not too long ago and am very excited about this site. Needless to say as a new member I know no one. May I kindly invite you as a guest to my site (http://ntoond2.ning.com/). Any suggestions or comments you may have on how best to navigate the 2.0 world would be most appreicated.
Also, would you care to share any sayings which are particular to your country on my site? For example, in the US one can say "Waste not, want not" or "Birds of a feather flock together", "A stitch in time saves nine"... and so on.
I'd be most grateful.
Thanks and hope to hear from you.
Hello J Guadalupe Salcido...One of my favorite programs to use with students is http://www.sitesalive.com where I follow a sailor as he voyages around the world. He is speaking in the Classroom 2.0 virtual classroom at 12 PM EST this afternoon. More information is in the Live Conversation Wiki if you are interested in hearing about his program. His next voyage is the Vendee Globe in 2008...around the world alone. He will connect with students via his website as he travels...it's a great experience for students.
Thanks for your comment! I am very excited to be part of this group.. Learning is a beatiful thing and I think this is a great way how learn about each other's experiences as educators and citizens of the world... Liz
It is a great pleasure to meet you and I thank you for accepting my invitation. I am most interested in all that is being explored and used by educators in your country and look forward to learning from you. I hope that what I can offer, through providing material about what is happening in Australia is of value to you and your colleagues.
